Speaking Life: 20 New Year Declarations for 2022!

Instead of starting the new year with resolutions why not start it with lifegiving declarations? As we start 2022, let’s go back to the basics — as every foundation determines how high or how strong the structure is, knowing who we are, who created us and who holds our hearts and our lives in His hands determines how we will face the coming year and all that is in store for us. Here’s our list of 20 lifegiving verses to declare as we welcome 2022!

Simple Not Simple

As a wife, mom, reluctant homeschool teacher, defacto interior designer, handywoman, “all-around maker of all things” (or so my 7-year-old daughter thinks), time is precious. I totally get it. As a mom of 3 kids, subconsciously stockpiling these precious time-saving tidbits along the way gave way to Simple Not Simple—a busy woman’s survival guide of useful shortcuts, inspiring Christian lessons, easy style how-to segments, wife/mom insights, DIY hacks, informative in-depth pieces with bits of the joyous nostalgic 80s sprinkled throughout (hey, why not?).

I hope you’ll stay awhile. Take a well-deserved breather on a comfy couch and browse, muse, hopefully take away a helpful nugget (or two) that will make your life a little bit easier as you dive right back into the world of kids, jobs, homeschool, household chores, laundry, and grocery-runs. (I know, I need to pick up a few things too!).

Let this be a shot of faith-filled, fun-filled caffeine for your soul. A quick pick-me-up. An escape (squeezed in between prepping the family’s next meal and doing the laundry) to get you through the repetitive, the complicated, the breakneck bullet train of the not-so-simple life we’re on.
